Peanut Butter And Banana Sandwich Slow Cooker Oats
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups steel-cut oats
- 4 cups almond milk, plus extra for serving
- 2 cups water
- 1 tbsp ground flax
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/3 cup chunky or smooth peanut butter
- 1 ripe banana, sliced
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
Directions
- Place oats, almond milk, water, ground flax, chia seeds, vanilla, salt and peanut butter in a slow cooker.
- Give it all a stir with a whisk to break up the peanut butter.
- Arrange banana slices across the top.
- Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with brown sugar.
- Cover and cook on low for 7 hours.
- When ready to serve, scoop oatmeal into bowls, add a splash of almond milk and garnish with almonds, coconut, banana and raspberries.
