  2. Add the sausage, carrots, rutabaga, onion, leek, garlic, broth, salt, and pepper.
  3. Stir, cover, and cook for 15 minutes.
  4. Remove the lid and add the herbs.
  5. Continue to cook for 10 minutes.
  6. Toss in the pistachios, divide among 4 plates.
