Easy Chicken And Dumplings



  1. Remove string from chicken, if present.
  2. Discard skin from chicken.
  3. Remove meat from bones.
  4. Chop or shred chicken (you should have 3 1/2 to 4 cups chopped chicken).
  5. In a saucepan stir together chicken with remaining ingredients (except bread).
  6. Simmer, covered, 15 minutes.
  7. Meanwhile, remove corn bread twists from package.
  8. Cut along perforations.
  9. Lay twists on a baking sheet.
  10. Roll 2 twists together to make a spiral.
  11. Repeat with remaining twists.
  12. Bake according to package directions.
  13. Spoon chicken mixture into bowls.
  14. Top each serving with corn bread spirals.
