Cream Cheese Meat Bagels



  1. Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the onions and garlic and saute for 10 minutes.
  3. Preheat the oven to 400 F.
  4. Line 2 rimmed baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.
  5. Place the ground pork, eggs, tomato sauce, nutritional yeast, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  6. When the onions are cooked, add them to the bowl and mix.
  7. Divide the meat mixture into 12 equal portions.
  8. Taking one portion at a time, roll it into a ball and press onto the lined baking sheet.
  9. Shape the meat mixture into a circle, keeping the thickness to 1/2 inch.
  10. Create a 1 1/2-inch hole in the middle of the patty.
  11. Repeat with remaining meat mixture to make a total of 12 bagels, placing 6 bagels on each baking sheet.
  12. Bake the bagels for 20 to 25 minutes.
  13. Remove from the oven and allow to cool on the pans for 30 minutes before assembling the sandwiches.
  14. To assemble, spread 2 tablespoons of the cream cheese on one of the bagels.
  15. Layer on one-sixth of the cucumber slices, followed by 1 ounce of deli meat, finishing with one-sixth of the sprouts.
  16. Top with a second bagel and repeat with remaining ingredients to make a total of 6 bagel sandwiches.
