Asian Chicken And Shrimp Soup



  1. Combine chicken and the water.
  2. Simmer, covered, for 20 to 25 minutes.
  3. Remove chicken from pot.
  4. Chop meat, discarding skin and bones.
  5. Strain cooking liquid.
  6. Wipe out Dutch oven.
  7. Add strained liquid.
  8. Add chicken broth.
  9. Bring to boiling.
  10. Add chicken and remaining ingredients except black pepper.
  11. Return to boiling.
  12. Cook, uncovered, 5 minutes.
  13. Season to taste with black pepper.
